2005 GLI or 2005 WRX -- please comment

Hello,

I am debating purchasing a 2005 VW GLI 32K miles or a 2005 Subi WRX 35K miles as a second vehicle which will primarily be driven by my little bro. Both vehicles are certified through dealers, the GLI has the remainer of it's 50K warranty and i can purchase a 70K warranty for an extra $500 which i will do if i choose the GLI.

My bro wants the WRX but i'm leaning towards the GLI -- any recommendations based on experiance with the GLI?? Neither will be used as a track car but i will allow him to add discreet mods to the car (no jumbo wing or fart can).

GLI warranty was voided by the dealer after a thorough inspection of the car... due to aftermarket parts... WRX wins..

whats with this forum... not many jetta owners? very quite to say the least
