I'm new to this forum and am hoping for a little help. I have a 1992 1.6L turbo Diesel engine in a 93 Passat GL body and notices lots of smoke upon start up and occasionally upon acceleration after running for a while it clears up. Also, have to pump the gas pedal to get it going (Glow Plugs?). Does anyone have any ideas.
