My 1996 Passat GLX VR6 6cyl lost her want to move. I am now looking for a 96 01m auto transmission. Seems like I own the only one in the world. My question is: am I making this search much harder on myself than it is? Will any other year tranny fit? Most importantly does anyone out there have or know where I can come by a good running transmission for my car. Other than the tranny(at the moment) I love my Passat. Switching her over to a manual in not an option for me. Help please if you can.
