Hi guys.
I have a big problem with my 1999 Passat 1.8 T with 5spd tranny.

My A/C blows ice cold.
Here is my problem:

After i star my car, about 5 min when a/c is on it starts blowing from the vents "dust" looking super "icy air".

On the top of that there is masive water leak in to the passanger side floor. The glove compartment is dry.

looks like serious problem... but is there anything i can try to fix bymyselfe?

Have any of you experince simmilar problmens?

Thanks for all your help.

I had the same thing happen to my '94 Golf.  It is a very simple fix.  On the firewall there is a "U-shaped" flap in the aluminum shielding (there are 2 of these on my Golf and it was the bigger one, closer to the passenger side).  Pull (the aluminum shielding bends) the u-shaped flap out and behind it is a rubber "flap".  Pull open that flap and clean it out.  Some water will likely come out.  This is the drain for the a/c condenser and if the flap won't open or gets clogged, the water backs up and enters the passenger cabin below the glove box.  Here is a link to a picture and description of the fix:  http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2631910

Hope that helps!
