ive heard a lot of different stories on how to remove a badge. but i just wanted to know if anyone had some good proven ways that doesnt mess anything up. if not then ill go with my friends idea of WD40 and dental floss. thanx 4 the help.

ive always used a heat gun to heat up the adhesive and then when u get it off u use 3m adhesive remover, works great, well at least for me.

true heat gun, then, run dental floss behind it and pull it through, itll separate it easier.
good luck

I remove a lot of badging for my graphics company and I use a heat gun and pry them off with a piece of plastic. You can get a $15 rubber wheel that fits a cordless screw gun. Pull the trigger and the thick adhesive comes off like using a pencil eraser! Wash with soap and water.

i went to a hard ware store and got a plastic putty knife and cleaned the residue off with brake parts cleaner. it dosnt sound as (professional) as the other options but if you dont have a heat gun it works

i went to school for automotive collision and here is how ICAR does it. get some soapy water solution and soak the badge. then get some fishing string and pull it back and forth behind the badge till it comes off. for some crazy reason if that doesnt work use a heat gun to loosen the adhesive.
