My wife's 1999 Volkswagen Cabrio has recently started leaking air into the inside of the car.  With the winter rain and snow, it is allowing condenstion to build up on the inside of the windows and is mildewing the interior.  I've checked all of the seals around the windows and convertible top, but don't see any apparent places that might leak.  We are wanting to sell this car, so I need to get this fixed.  Does anybody have any advice?  Do I need to replace all of the seals?

The rubber and felt seals are treated with silicone, after
a few years they dry out. Purchase a spray of silicone at
your auto parts store or Wally world and respray all the seals and window felt, raise the top and spray where it fastens to the windshield. Install some regular household
parsons ammonia full strength into a small spray bottle, also
pour some into a small bowl, set the bowl of ammonia on to
the floor, start the engine, turn on the a/c and spray under
the dash, let the ammonia drift into the a/c , then turn on
the heater and spray under the dash again, let the ammonia
drift into the heater, shut it and the engine off, spray all
around inside the vehicle on the material, lightly. close all
windows and let it set for a few hours and then remove the
bowl in the floor and air out the vehicle, the ammonia will
be strong to you so you have to do it fast and get out, it
wont  hurt anything in the car, it's the factory directions from
Ford and GM on removing mildew smell.
