I'm thinking about purchasing my friends 1996 VW GTi 2.0L. It has 100,000 miles on it, new clutch, tranny, brake, rotors, calipers, and more. He is asking $5000 for it and I was wondering if any of you guys/gals have owned or currently own this model of GTi. What was your experience with this car? Let me know what your overall opinion is!
