hey i have a golf 150bhp turbo mk4 it has its own dump valve from new when puttin your own one on the car which i will be putting a baily dump valve on the car. does the old one being a vw standard dump valve cut out when fitting your new one on.

Yeah, lots of slang out in the car world. I usually stick to industry names, to avoid confusion. BOV.
