have you seen that drop top concept? i cant think of the name right now but it looks sweet.

hmm..im not sure what you mean either...is it s pheaton drop? or something smaller?

The "W12" is a concept from back in the late 90's and will not be built at all. The "Type R" is going into production in 07'. There will be a lot of new and exciting vw's coming along within the next few years. I'll keep you all posted.

I'll try to get some pics, but the company is pretty tight about that kind of stuff.

I don't believe that VW have any plans to put the Concept R into production at the moment.

Although they've recently launched a Coupe-Convertable version of the Golf mk V called the Eos(which looks similar to the Concept R). Its pretty nice and comes with a 3.2litre V6 from the Golf R32.

On the Vdub site it says the EOS will have the 2.0T. In the UK there are 4 versions, 1.6fsi, 2.ot, TDI, and 3.2 V6. Not quite sure if it's a VR6.

wow *jaw drops* i think the concept r is better than the eos design wise. the look is very distinct.
