Intake Decisions for golf 3

Hey guys and gals
 
i was wondering do any of you know of a good intake for a 1.4 golf mark 3 cash dosent really matter but i live in a rainy country and the roads are so crap that there is massive puddles everywhere!! i have heard of this thing called hydrolock in which water gets into your engine because of the cold air intake sucking it up, is this a problem with ones like k and n and ones which are situated at the top of the engine???
 
any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!
