Looking for a good mechanic shop

Hey, I got my '97 Jetta not too long ago and it's been great to me. I do most of the usual maintenence myself and haven't had to take it to the shop until now. My checkengine light just came on and I've got a couple other repairs I've been holding off on. So now it's time, the guy I usually go to doesn't work on VW's, I was wondering if anyone here in the Pasadena area can reccomend a place that does good work? I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
