well yeah, the DI and VVT is strictly automotive related - I think Im going be doing test and development process designs for DI systems, they call it advanced engineering - so hopefully Ill be on the dyno most of the time

Now thats fun! Speaking of dyno's, not related to VW's, my bud and I are about to head to the dyno with his Grand Prix GT. Full turbo, intercooled. Just finished swapping his stock motor for one out of a GTP (supercharged) sent it out for a short block, with a custom spec cam from the same company that builds the turbo kit. I work for the company off and on....we took the car from 165hp stock to about 350-370hp (to the wheels, pump fuel (14psi) with the full turbo kit. Now that the new motor is in, lower compression...8.5 I think, with the new spec prototype cam, we're gonna aim for 450hp-500hp wheel horsepower with race gas at 20psi but run it 15psi daily on the street, possibly 19psi if he decides to go ahead with water injection. Haven't even ported the heads yet, lookin for a stock head HP record with this car for grand prix's. Port them after. Can't wait! Heading out with him on a trip today to put km's on the new motor to break it in before it can be retuned for power.
