Roller Pedal Question

I put a roller pedal on my '70 Baja bug and now it won't rev quick at all. I followed all the instruction and everything when installing it but now there is very little push back on the pedal. When I push it down it moves like and 1inch and takes forever to get revs. Anyone know what this could be?

you need to grind one of the stops down on the new crome pice the one that stops it from moving forward
you wont get full throttle with out doing this

Actually I am in Utah. I bought the pedal awhile ago though from Bob's VW parts. So if I grind that peace off I should get more revs?

ya only bad part is you need to pull the thing apart again

Okay grinded the peace off. Now I think the carb might be bad or to much for the motor. It is a dual barrel carb and from talking with some people I think it might be to much for the little thing. So I need to find a single barrel carb for cheap and try that.
