I don't have my owners manual but need the security code for my stereo.  Does anybody know the four digits for my 2003 Jetta?  I talked to the VW dealership and was told I needed to take it out but don't even have the tool to do so.  Any help, please!!!

      The radio code,....you must remove the radio, take it
  to the dealer, they will take a number off the radio and
  send the info in to VW or radio manufacture. they then
  will receive the code and give it to you, They are kept
  secret and each radio has it's own code, so no one can
   help you except the dealer.
       I had so much trouble with the radio and it's code crap
   untill I removed the radio and went to WalMart and
   purchased a new one without a code and am much happier.

you just need to take the radio out and on the right side of the radio is the serial number. take that number and you vin number call a vw dealership and they can get you the code for it.
 
 
P.S.   make sure to write it donw in the manual if you ever need it again
