Tricked out Cavalier against Stock VW

Don't ya love it when you're out cruisin' and someone in a tricked out
ass car pulls up and you would think the car would have some power but
it's just all looks.  So I talk a little sh*t, he talks a little
sh*t, and then I kick his ass in a race in my stock '04 VW Jetta
1.8T.  If you wanna hear details about what happened I'd be more
then happy to tell the entire story.

i have a 03 stock gti 1.8t, its amazing how fast they are bone stock, most people dont expect a nice car with no exhaust to be fast

yeah i was surprised at how quick my gti is. i got the vr6 with the 6 speed

i am not surprised how quick your GTi is..ive seen some Screamers at the track!

but racing a cavalier???

hey, ive seen some FAST cavaliers... han racecraft now makes a turbo kit that i believe uses stock ECU and stock internals, and has pushing the ecotec into the 12s...

It's still a cavalier, and anyone to waste the money
of strapping in a turbo in to a cavalier has something
wrong upstairs. Especially when a proper and complete
turbo system is half the cost of a typical cavalier hahaha

The only reason people trick out honda's and cavaliers
and any crappy 4 banger is because they are cheap
and don't wanna buy a real car. VR6 is a nice change,
seems to be getting more popular among young fellows!

Nice pics....I have 2000 jetta vr6, and stock it's pretty quick, made my own cold air intake, and have a full magnaflow exhaust. I laugh everytime I see the wanna-be-fast and furious guys on the street. They dump so much money into something for looks but get beat everytime. I live in Idaho now, and I swaer there's only 4 cars that EVERYONE has...integras and civics..wrx's, or eclipse's...im the only person in a group of 30 that has a VW..My mom would be so proud..lol

It's not so slow if you do the right overhaul for it...

I raced a guy with a sunfire trying to show off in front of his girls, he flew up on me, I let him on the side of me and dusted him in a curve because that girly car couldn't stick. Dude was cake!! i've got jetta 1.8T

novtec1 wow nice cars! and ya jettas are quick for a stock car my friend has one and wow for him to have nothing in it, its a ton of fun.
