I have a 1998 Passat 1.8 4 cyl and I am getting trouble codes p1136 (fuel trim too rich at idle) and P1613 (Transmission control module, short to B+)
does anyone have an idea on what might be causing this?
can the 2 be related?

i think that they could be related...if the transmission is having troubles, the ecu may be trying to compensate with added fuel...
