Please help me guys

I have this problem.

My car wont start at all. When I turn the ignition key it tries to start. The sparkplugs is ok (checked it already).

It started after i changed a temp. sensor located in the cooling hose.

I didnt disconnect the power from the battery when I changed it and I have been told that I need to reset the computer because it thinks there is a problem, because i didnt disconnect the power

Is this true?

How do I do this???

Disconnect the battery for a min, then start the car, if there's an engine light on, autozone usually runs codes for free. Need more details to diagnose the problem, it's hard to say from way over here without looking at it, or knowing exactly what you're running...auto/manual...1.8...all of this will help.
