I have a 2006 jetta tdi on which I'm having trouble locating the the draincock for the water separator. Dealer mechanic says it's on the bottom of the fuel filter canister (where it was on my 2003 Jetta TDI) but husband can't find it. Oil has been changed twice without draining the water separator - could this cause any loss in fuel mileage or engine performance?
