hey everyone, thanks in advance for the replies. (Now im sure you have already covered this once before but forgive me for not going through every topic and looking for what i might not end up finding information for anyway.)

im new to the VW scene(always have had honda's/acura's), but have decided on a change. Just picked up and 07 Jetta 2.5, and have been doing some searching and i really need some good information on a aftermarket chip(ecu upgrade) for the jetta. i have found a couple of websites and i just cant tell if they are even worth wasting my time. if anyone here has any good info on ecu's please let me know all the ins and outs of the mod. (will it hurt the engine?...is the power upgrade instant and noticeable?...is it worth it?...how much should i really spend on this upgrade?...and any other info you might have. also, it seems to be a little challenging to find VW upgrade websites for the 07 jetta..?? any good ones out there...??

oh yah and any other easy performance upgrades for this car would be helpful too if anyone knows anything...

Well, For the Ecu.. I have no idea, but for performance you can do alot, Jst google it and I bet you''ll get 5+ Sites that have it.
