Oil Cooler "O" Ring Replacement   Printable Version Volkswagen >> VW MODELS >> Volkswagen Passat >> Oil Cooler "O" Ring Replacement Page: [1] Login Message << Older Topic   Newer Topic >> Oil Cooler "O" Ring Replacement - 12/3/2007 11:44:34 AM    rolandor   Posts: 4 Joined: 4/30/2007 Status: offline 1999 VW Passat, 1.8T, 20 valve, AEB engine.  Can the nut holding the oil cooler in place be removed with a standard socket and/or wrench?  I need to replace the "O" ring as I have a massive oil leak.  Does not appear to be gasket that mounts to engine at this point.
