big_j369 -> coolant temperature sensor (12/6/2007 7:34:50 PM)

i have a 1998 2.0L jetta and i'm not a 100% sure if the coolant temperature sensor is the 4pin or 2pin sensor at the outlet hose elbow, does anyone know for sure which one is the coolant temperature sensor?
