2004Passat -> 2004 Passat V6 Problems after 30K maintemance (12/18/2007 9:01:08 PM)

My vw dealer recommended the following after my 30, 000 miles maintenance.
1）rear brake at 5mm, need to change pads and rotars $420 + tax + supplies;
2) passager side front outer CV boot torn open, $326 + tax + supplies;
3) drive belt cracked/worn $170 + tax + supplies;
4) coolant flush $150 ..
5) power steering fluid flush $130..;
Please help: what are immediate and must-do? Are these quotes reasonable in Maryland area? When the quote exclude tax and supplies, are the quotes only labor and I need to pay extra for parts?
I declined the services today and would like to take it to other auto repair place for an estimate. But I need to make sure they use authentic vw parts, though.
