Despite popular belief, some times you can purchase a product thats too good, Try replacing the K&N oil filter with a regular low cost one. Sounds like the filter is filtering too well for your engine and cutting down the oil pressure. We found this same problem in drag racing. Filtering well is great for long life, however if the filter is too good and killing the pressure it's doing more damage than a cheepie would. Also if your in a warm area like the southern states that 10w-30 isn't heavy enough for a 4 cyl engine, if so go to 20w-50.
