Jetta or Golf

I am about to buy a new VW. I can choose between a Golf with 71k or a Jetta with 45k. They are both 2003 and around $12k. I want the Golf but I think that the Jetta would be better as it has less miles on it. They are both certified with 2 year warranties. What do you think I should go with? I have wanted a Golf for so long but I heard that at around 75k they start to go bad.

well most cars need a few parts replaced around that many miles, also it depends on the engine in each car. if you want to tune it up get the 1.8t r vr6. but the key to over all happiness with your new vw is to get what you really want even if you have to do a lil maitenance to it. get what you really want and youll never regret it. if you buy the jetta though check to make sure all the doors open
