i have purchased a bimmer tranny on ebay...and it was fine...the best way to be safe, when you find something you need, like a head, check the persons rating, and check to see if it is a person who is selling the piece, or an online company. there are a TON of companies nationally and wordlwide who do business specifically online, and the way they get their name out is places liek ebay. if it is a large company, like the people who i bought my tranny from, look at their webpage, and search the internet for any complaints about them...i did all of that for my tranny, and found nothing bad about the company...they even included a warranty!
