Hello there
I have an 81 gti, it struggles to start in the morning, esp cold weather. I take it that it needs a new cold start valve. There is another issue which i was wondering might be related, when i have been stuck in heavy traffic for maybe 20 mins start stop start stop. The engine seems to flood/overheat i am not sure which but it cuts out and is hard to start again. When it does get going it is very jumpy. Might it be related to a faulty cold start valve?

Can anybody help

Maybe because it's 26 years old.

Hi RichieGTI,

Cool name! You sound like you are an angry driver. Am I right? I think your anger is spreading bad vibes to your car. You need to chill out. Also, I gathered from your post that you sometimes dress like a homeless man. You should stop this
