I've been thinking about getting a jeep wrangler.  I like the small manuverable convertable.
With this in mine I've also been attracted to the convertable Beetle.

One thing I like about the Jeep is that you sit fairly high but in the Beetle your pretty low.

I'd like to see if there's some out there who have big tires and/or done something else to raise the Beetle up a bit.

Pics or links to pics appreciated.

Thanks....

That's like saying hot or cold, night or day what's better??  Totally different vehicles...jeep's are for offroading, bettles are chick cars that are bought to cruise.  I would buy my daughter a beetle so her and her frineds can look cool....I'd be me a jeep to go play in the mud.  Just my opinion, but if it's a VW, get the Jetta, 1.8T or VR6.

If you're referring to the air-cooled convertible Beetle, then yes, you can Baja the car. They do well off road because those air-cooled engines have great torque and the engine sits on top of the drive wheels. I've had my baja through mudpits that a 3/4 Chevy got stuck in.
