My girls car is throwing a code calling for a new MAF. We need to get the car inspected in 2 weeks, so a CEL wont exactly help us out. I was wondering if you guys have any easier methods to replacing it, or if its just as easy as doing on on a nissan. If anyone has pics or something it would be appreciated, Thanks!

Check and see if the little thing inside the sensor is broken, that will make it truly bad. The sensor is prolly dirty, is the car running ok? Clear the codes, and spray the sensor with the MAF cleaner. You will have to keep the RPM's up while spraying casue it will want to die. Spray everything, connection all that, and then see if it runs better or the code comes back.
