Hey guys, I bought my 99 wolfsburg edition jetta about a year and a half ago. It was Fine when I bought it but shortly after I started getting a few problems. I bought it with 104k miles, so naturally I wasn't expecting a brand new vehicle. First my windows were acting up. My drivers side would go down, but not up, that's still the case and it appears to be somewhat crooked. I reached inside and felt the cable and it appears to be Tight, I'm wondering if maybe it's possible that it gets caught on anything? My passanger side will not go down or up at all. Next is the cruise control. It worked for one day, the day I bought it. Since then it hasn't. I'm aware that there is a circuit breaker under the dash, which I haven't checked yet, and I'm thinking possibly that it may be bad. As for fuses...I can't seem to figure out where the cruise control fuse is. It's not on the regular fuse panel, is it in the fuse/relay box under the dash? Also my wiper doesnt work on the lowest setting, every once in a while it will work. Then there's the gas guage, when I fill up it goes to only 3/4 full, and then by 130-160 miles the empty light comes on. I hear that it may be a bad solder? Any ideas? And last but not least, my AC. I just got the ac compressor replaced, $700+ for everything to get that fixed, you could hear it going and I didn't want it to seize and kill the belt. It's fully charged, all fluid is in, yet it won't enguage...says the tech. Any and all help is MUCH appreciated, I'm more so focused on getting my windows working than anything else.

check the window motor...my window did the same thing and I had to replace the platic clips that hold the window in track. They break real easy and its only $170 for the kit from the dealership. Sounds like a short in the circuit, but my fuses are on the side of the drivers dash. Check every single fuse, and ther are some relays under the dash, too.
