Hey guys, I'm trying to sell my GTI, I'm going into the military and won't have much need for it anymore.
Here are some specs on the car...
52k miles
Manual
4 Kicker CVR 8" subs
6 cd-changer
CDA-9885 Alpine Stereo with ipod connection
18" Echelon Wheels

Anyone interested let me know.

are you insane....store it somewhere until you get back...this is a beautiful car that obviously you have some input into it....and it will provide some focus for you to get back and tear up the streets......

just my opinion

Yea I'm with him.  I'm in the Air Force, and I stored my car at my mom's until it was time for to come back and get it.  If you some beater than yea I wouldn't car, but since you're gonna be in basic training and then prolly tech school, just keep it casue you won't be spending money trust me.

OK, here's what you do.  Call up the leinholder and tell them that you are joining the military...what branch?  Tell them that while you're in basic training, you're not completely sure how you're gonna make the payments, being that you won't have any freedom for at least 9 weeks.  Ask them if they have any programs, or deals they can do for you.  You may have gotten a sign-on bonus, like I got $6000, and see if you can just pay them what you didn't pay after you graduate.  Other option is once you join in, you're paycheck will be directly deposited into an account, otherwise you ain't getting paid.  Use an existing checking, or open one, and put someone on there you trust.  have them draw out the money and send the payments for you.  If those don't work, you're losing a ride you prolly put alot of sweat into and that's a shame.
