I went out two days ago, jumped in my car (2000 Passat V6 2.8) started it up and I heard a kind of a metal to metal grinding noise, I thought that maybe the oil hadn't got to the top of the engine yet. Turns out this was not the case, the noise sounded like it was coming from the pulley of the power steering pump, so I changed the power steering pump thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. The noise is loud it and it's coming from the front of the engine. Can some one please advise.
