hi, first sorry in advance for my english, is not perfect i'm going to try to explain my problem with my best english!! i'm living in South of France and happy to be register on your forum! I've got a VW golf 2 1.6 and every morning, for the first start, the starter automatic is working during 5 seconds and is turning off and after it's horrible during 5 minutes(time to get her at the good temperature). What i'd like to know is, if somebody can scan me a picture or a shéma of the carb with all the composents of the starter for resolve my problem myself. Thanks in advance! Olive

Things like that you can find in a VW manual which can be purchased off ebay or most likely a VW specific parts store. I'm sure you can find one. If you need to, in the future, post your question in French AND English. I speak French and we can easily translate it, worst case scenario. -Jeff

get anew or rebuilt starter with a warranty and change it not worth messing around with pull your old starter apart and see it for real do this first if you have the time then when you cant fix it you can get a new one and put it in
