Stereo intsall question

I know I'm just a girl who doesn't know much,but I decided to install my radio myself with the harness and antenna adapter. I matched color to color on everything and now my dash lights don't come on and the stereo doesn't go off when I turn the car off. Help PLEASE!!!!!!

most vw dont have a keyed acc wire they need to be wired to a key on wire

did you get  your lights to work??

Lights are working, I blew a fuse(whoops). I noticed that the odo and clock never go off though. I haven't wired the acc wire to the key yet either, but I wouldn't think it would make the clock and odometer stay on??
