So im pretty new to VW in general. i currently drive a 1988 BMW 325 that was rear-ended and claimed totaled.. me and my dad are looking at getting me either a jetta or GTI now. i test drove a 2002 or 2003 jetta yesterday 1.8 turbo Wolfsburg Edition. i really like these cars alot, there alot faster than the BMW im use to and almost 20 years newer haha. does anyone have any preferences to weather i should get a jetta or a GTI? thanks guys

Each car has its pros/cons....it depends on what you plan on using it for....

Do Not! Spend a bunch of money on a Jetta/Golf if your using for a daily driver. Get the 2.0 version and call it good. No point in getting one of those cars if you're just driving it around. You're buying someone elses toy if you buy turbo wolfsburg. Seriously if yo're not gonna race it, drift it, or run it then get the 2.0. It's good on gas and you still do a few upgrades to it to make it faster.
