Hello everyone! I am looking for some help! I have a 2001 VW cabrio. I got in it this morning and started it, as I look to put it into gear the ABS light was on, my emergency brake light was on and the AC was not working. I got a little ways down the street and parked. I decided to turn it off and turn it back on, everything was fine! I do have a problem w/ my check engine light coming on for a few days at a time when the weather is hot.  I have had about $3000 worth of work on it in the past year - new AC, new brakes, mass air flow, O2 sensors, spark plugs, etc.  Anyone know why this would happen? I thought maybe when I turned it over it just did not turn over completely! I know sounds crazy but do you think it could be something BAD!??? HELP ME!!!!

Go download your codes at a shop, or even like auto zone or something.  Should tell you what's popping.
