Hey, whats going on?

Stumbled across this forum in search of some advice.  I am looking to purchase a 60's - 70's Beetle or Karmanghia but dont really know where to start.  I've been surfing through Ebay and my local Craigslist and really havent found any thing that caught my eye (in my price range).  I'm looking to spend no more than $4,000's max.  It will be a second car and driven only on weekends or on occassion to work on the really nice days.  I want it to be as original as possible.  and a hard top.

Oh, I'm 35, dont have a garage but the wife and I are looking to possibly by another house which we hope to have one.  I'm a big VW fan and my previous VW cars in order of last owned: 2000 GTI VR6 (current), 83 GTI Rabbit, 86 Fox, 77 Bus.

Welcome!  I've seen a couple bugs on here, but you'd have to sift through all our classifieds.
