Sometimes when I switch the car from park it takes a second or two to switch to drive or reverse or neutral. Also, sometimes when the car downshifts after I let off the gas, it seems to have a slight jerk. I'm hoping I just need some new auto-tranny fluid. Ideas?

Auto?? There may be a sensor going bad that tells the tranny when to shift, that could explain the jerk.

my 01 is doing the same thing, but the more i the more i keep off the gas the less it dose it. i did talk to a dealer about that subject, but without takeing it in he said that he was 85%sure that thare was nothing wrong. so natraly i assumed it was normal, being as thoue when i got it it was alredy doing it .i gess that it makes sense thoue that thare would be somthing wrong. now i have heard rummers about that trans being bad but havent realy ben abil to find any cases or met any one who can conferm it i would also like to know what you came up with.
