check the flywheel. It may be missing a tooth or something and tearing the starter gear.  Is that what is getting messed up?

so that place you talked to said it might be a missing tooth also?  Flywheels aren't bad just time consuming.

they said that if something was wrong with the flywheel it might cause problems with the starter. But now I`ve got my car back and the reasen why the starter was damaged was something wrong in the electric wiring. The fuse for delivering of fuel/ diesel has been changed a lot to, and the reasen for this is the same error in the electric wiring. Now I suppose the starter will be working for a longer time. Thank you for your replies. I `ve learned something new. As you might read, I am not a mechanic...
