hey all. i actually plan to make a shorter shift lever i can just swap out. but i just wanted to know if anyones done anything like this and can give input. like is there only teh one bolt to take out of the white plastic and slide the shaft out? (see pic) thanks for any input :D

usually you chop and weld the shifter back together for best results...
