I have a 98 Bug with the 2.0. It has developed a bad miss that will only let you accelerate slowly. Quick acceleration, even in the driveway in park causes bad misses that just bogs down the engine and it won't rev until you let up. I am getting the P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 Codes and I have replaced the following: Fuel filter, Plugs, Plug Wires, Mass Air Sensor, & Temp Sensor. I noticed it revs a little better (in park in driveway) with the Fuel Pressure regulator unplugged. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see it shows 32psi at idle and with the engine off. At idle with the FP regulator vac. unhooked it shows 40psi so I think that tells me the FP regulator is working. But as I accelerate I don't see the Fuel Pressure rise it stays right around 32psi. Should I see it rise? Is it perhaps my fuel pump not keeping up? What sort of fuel pressure reading should I see on this car? Any other ideas as to what my problem might be? Thanks! Joe

OOPS sorry I see I posted this in the wrong Forum. If someone can delete it (or tell me how to delete it) I'll repost in a better location. Joe
