hey everyone. this is my first post here but i have been a long time member to other forums. heres my situation...
i am going to be in the market for a new car soon and i have heard some people talking about the Diesel VW.
i currently own an older Jeep grand cherokee with the 5.2L V8 with some extras, and currently spend zero on car payments, its paid off, but the gas bill is approaching 450 a month.
i dont use my pack seat ever, so i was thinking about the rabbit, its cheap and i dont need anything big or a sedan for a while.
My buddy tells me that TDI VW's get 50+ MPG and that is, in my world, unreal. i currently get 12 to 14 when babied to the extreme. it is no fun driving it none if i cant drive it like i stole it.
SO what can everyone tell me about these TDI rabbits or something comparable.

Also will i be able to fit in one? i'm 6'4" and pretty much all legs... yeah it sucks having to not only look for a car that i like and performs the way i want it to but i have to see if i can actually fit comfortably in  . Thanks again.
