if anyone has any tips on removing rear door panels and the side piller (for installing gauges etc...) on an mk4 jetta i would really appreciate it

The front pillars are airbags do not cover then unless you want a pod gauge embeded in your face in an accident. Go with a pod mount for your steering wheel...
