I have been thinking on building a home built tractor. Mainly to pull cars around and We are thinking about building a 2 mile trail through the woods for my sons 4 wheelers. Hanging a homemade blade on the rear of it. Most small tractors I have seen only have a 12-15 h.p. motor. I was thinking of using a 4 cylinder bug motor hooked up to a off brand transmission. Have any of you ever built a vw powered tractor or know of one ? I like to keep the total width of the to maybe 3 1/2 foot. Any ideas. Thanks
