hi all im new to this forum i have a very nice golf mk4 its an r32 replica its only a 1.4 16v.

however i can get a crashed vr6 mk3 golf damaged at the rear, so i was wondering is it or would it be a big job to put the engine into the mk4 golf and would the electrics (loom) be simple to wire to make the ecu work.

has any1 ever did this sort of thing before any advice would be greatly app thanks

You would need the ecu from said car too, wiring is a bitch. But it can be done if your mechanically inclined. Watch out for bad internals on a crashed car, possibility they didnt survive the impact too or are messed up slightly from the crash...
