i have a 03 gti with a k04 turbo upgrade neuspeed c.a.i.
and i have a neuspeed exhaust i took out the resignator and the sound didnt really change much. i was wondering if there is a silencer in which i can take out.
i was thinking about getting headers too
is there any good and cheap exhausts/headers out there that will give me a nice deep roar
i checked out megan racing but i need feedbacks.
thanks.

first off its called a downpipe for our engines, headers are for NA cars. Megans are ok but if you want the goods go with a neuspeed or an apr down. Also is your replacing the cat only a metal catalyst will do, skip the ceramic...

if you want more sound out of the motor alot of it comes from the intake side, replace the filter with a foam version for the most sound, also you get what you pay for with the down pipes, cheap ones tend to crack and fittament suxs

sure but even a stock DV will give you the sound, but you have to have the short ram filter
