Greeting. I''m new to the forum and I''m looking for some advice. I''m currently in Iraq, but I''m in the process of getting a 99 Turbo Beetle. All the paperwork and everything should be done by the time I return in a couple weeks. I''m wondering what''s the most cost-effective way to improve fuel mileage. I''m not talking about driving conservatively or whatever, I''m talking aftermarket parts. Money isn''t really an issue, but I don''t want to get carried away spending needlessly.

more power = more fuel used. Although you can get alittle better mileage out of an intake and exhaust if you keep you foot out of the gas, properly maintained car helps too...
