My Touareg''s Smartkey got wet and won''t turn off the alarm when I push the button. I tried drying it out. I then tried to manually open the door, which was fine, but then the car shuts down with a sign that says "immobil activated" on the dashboard computer. I get that this is a security feature. How the heck do I start my car and drive it to a dealership to get it sorted out?

hmm, sounds like the immobilizer is well imobilized itself ha! maybe you fried out the chip itself and the car isnt recognizing it now, sound like you should get a nice buddy to give you a lift and have the dealer check it out, may have a solution...
