I just bought a 2005 bug convertible with 34,000 miles. The temp light has been coming on and today the check engine light came on and it has over heated. I think the bug has a 50,000 mile warranty so would it still be covered under that warranty even though I am not the first owner? Thanks for any help.

You should be covered I would think, not sure if the 05''s still have the junk coolant sensors that were black tops, make sure yours is green. Also you may have a locked thermostat but make sure obviously the warrant dosent cover these before you go buy them...
