I bought a new horn rim for my `69 Beetle several months ago, and took off the old one back then. Now I can not remember the order that its reinstalled. I have all of the part removed, the brass contact, the three screws and the little plastic inserts that fit on each of the three screws, and also the three springs. Do the springs fit between the brass ring and the horn rim? or does the brass ring fit against the horn rin and THEN the springs fit against the steering hub and the brass ring?
