I just came back from vacation and wanted to start my car but the battery was dead so i charged it and now i got
a P1445 Error code " throttle body malfunction".
the motor idles very low and when i hit the throttle it stops around 1500 RPM an d then collapses down to 500 or even lower and then the motor dies.
does anybody know how I can fix this problem?

you need a throttle body remap
or like swedish does turn key on without starting and let it cycle its self for a few seconds this might work

If hes going to have a fresh TBA without a vag com he needs to pull the battery cables to reset the ecu and then cycle the TB. I dont know though it could work without. I try to do a soft TBA everytime I start my car. Thanks for the love...

I also looked up this code for some reason im getting,

17853 P1445 Catalyst Temp.Sensor 2 Circ. Range/Performance

Where did you read this code from if you dont mind?

the dealer reset the computer, everything is fine now.
